My photo journal is a way for me to express the candid and honest moments I capture in my life. Some showcase the explicit love affair I have with photography. Others, just of trade them for the world. If you blog any of my imagery, be awesome and please give me photo credit. Enjoy!

A lot of people are responding well to the photo's Emily and myself take together. I think it all comes down to how comfortable we are around each other and how well we click. She genuinely appreciates my eye and I like how she's so natural in front of me. We don't have to worry about boundaries because we both know how far we can push the intimacy when the camera is on. In return, we end our session with a bunch of natural and real images that people can relate to. I think the biggest flaw in a lot of photographers work is that they stage shit way too much. They pose models in candid positions and it looks like a cheap counterfeit of a natural lifestyle shot. Even I'm guilty of this at times now because my work has turned into actual "work". The audience isn't stupid. People appreciate an experience when it looks, feels and smells real.
