One of the things on my to do list this month was to paint and snazzy up my apartment/workspace. If you follow my journal you'll know that last year I really tried to put effort into the interior. I found a lot of vintage Gucci and Louis Vuitton pieces and barware to add throughout but I got super busy and shit just had to go on the back burner. With that being said, what is the point of working my ass off if I can't spend money on things that interest me? The first thing I did was repaint the whole apartment. Thank god it's a small space but it still took me about 3 full days (thank you Jocelin for helping one of those days) to complete. Then I picked up a couple of Eames Molded chairs and a new TV for my room. Next I got a new bed and window treatments from West Elm. I ran into my buddy Chanel (Westcoast) who definitely spent way more money than me. I think we need a re-match at DWR! I also added some pieces from Jonathan Adler and CB2 including a shag rug that I had my eye on for about 3 months. To tie the workspace together I added a 27" iMac. Mind you, I've built my whole business on a 15" Macbook Pro that an old boss bought me when I first started doing photography. Now, to some people this may not seem like a lot of shit but I added it all up and trust me, 2 years ago I would have never been able to afford any of this. My space isn't complete yet but by the end of May it should be done. Friends that come over ask why I'm putting so much effort into my little space if I'm just going to move. Well, I'm at a point in my life where I have to finish everything that I start. Plus, I'm taking all of this shit with me when I upgrade. I'll be sure to post more photos when I finish the project. -- Thank you Fashen for all of your help. Luv ya bud.
